For a simple yet most important reason that Kana Creations candles are built on years of practice, testing, and real-world making. We don’t just teach steps — we teach why things work, so you create with confidence. For us to decide to start doing workshops was a very thoughtful decision as it calls to coach others with utmost integrity, safety and share all that we know.
Can you host an offline candle making workshop in our city?
Most of our workshops take place in Faridabad at our Studio. We occasionally run workshops in other parts of Faridabad. We rarely run workshops in other cities due to the logistics and expenses involved. If you can find minimum participation then we would be happy to make this happen. Email us at contactus@kanacreations.art and together we can find a way to work together.
Who are these workshops suitable for?
Our workshops are designed for hobbyists and beginners with little to no prior experience in candle making. We guide you through the process step-by-step and focus on fun, hands-on learning.
Will I be making a candle from scratch?
Yes, we will take every single step, including embellishing the candle, which you can take home and enjoy with your family.
There are many trendy candles out there. Can I suggest making one of those candles?
We love the enthusiasm and we are open to hear what you would like to make. But the decision will be ours as we have to look at the practicality and feasibility of the choice for all the participants in the batch together. Although once you learn the basics in the workshop, it might be possible for you to try making those trendy candles at home.
How many candles do we make in the candle-making workshop?
For a 3 hour workshop, you can barely finish one candle from beginning to end with all the steps. Understanding the science behind every step is an essential part of the process, hence it takes a long time
Will I be able to take my candle home after the workshop?
Yes, you’ll take the candle you create. Please note that candles need time to cure, so you’ll need to let it sit for at least 72 hours weeks before using it. Longer the curing time, the better it is for the candle.
Is there a limit on the number of participants?
Yes. To maintain a quality learning experience, we keep limited seats per session. Maximum we can do a batch of 10 to 12 people.
Do you conduct candle making workshops for NGOs, schools, communities, or corporate teams?
Yes, we conduct custom workshops for NGO’s schools, colleges, communities, personal events and corporate team-building experiences.

I want to start a candle-making business, how will this workshop help me?
Our workshops are designed for hobbyists or people who enjoy working with their hands and experiencing new things. Having said that, you certainly can start your own business depending upon how much time and effort you have put into practicing the skill. In this beginners candle-making workshop, we will teach you the basics of candle making, including a brief history and theory of candle making. We don’t teach taper and pillar candles as that calls for a longer time to make and cure. This is something you will have to learn on your own. We don’t teach anything to do with running a candle-making business either. Our main focus on this workshop is to help you get comfortable with the candle making process, material and basic technicalities.
We believe that in candle making, you will keep learning as you go along, the learning never ends. It’s really up to the maker to decide where they would like to take their own journey.
Where can I procure the candle-making supplies?
We provide a candle-making kit with all the supplies to make up to 8 candles. Before you invest further, we suggest you can buy that to practice further. Else you can buy all the supplies from Amazon India.
