Step 1 – Melting Soy Wax
Take Induction and double boiler. Heat water in the lower pan till half height. Once water comes to boil. Add soy wax pellets in the double boiler second pan and put it over the lower pan. Keep stirring the wax till it fully melts and changes into molten wax. The melting time would be around 5 to 10 min based on the wax quantity.
Step 2 – Check Temperature and Add Color
Soy wax temperature should not be more than 60 degrees. Gradually add Kana Creations Candle Oil Color and keep stirring till it completely blends with the molten wax.
Step 3 – Clean the Wax and add aroma.
Take any soft clean cloth available and pour the wax in a container to remove any dust. Add desired fragrance based on your scent requirement. Keep stirring till its aroma blends with the molten soy wax.
Step 4 – Prepare Candle container
Till wax cools a little more, clean the container and place cotton wick in the center of the glass jar. Then start pouring molten soy wax. Use a wick stabiliser to ensure the wick stays in the center.
Step 5 – Let Candle Cure
Allow the candle to cool for the next 24 to 48 hours. Keep it away from dust and extreme temperatures.
Step 6 – Decorate the Candle and ready to Use
Use natural material to decorate your candle to keep it nature friendly. Once everything dries then your candle is ready to use in your home or to be gifted to your loved one.
